Meet Your Hosts
Ken and Neta Welever are retired Boeing managers who couldn't wait to move to God's country. They have owned property in the Neah Bay area since 1984. They purchased their current property in 1993, and Ken built the inn from the bottom up. Ken makes the furniture for the inn. Neta makes the quilts, light fixtures, stained glass windows, and paints the murals. They retired in 1999, but are as busy as they ever were at Boeing. However, they have eliminated the Seattle area commute.
Ken did take out time from his building projects to purchase and equip a new 27' Orca cabin cruiser for use in his boat charter service. Ken has fished all his life, and he has spent at least 35 years saltwater fishing. He has fished out of Neah Bay for 25 years.
Ken Jr. helps out around the inn and as deck hand when his work schedule allows. Grandchildren are often spotted, especially in summer. Summer fishing is a lot of new experiences and an unforgettable vacation with us. We will help you find the most fishy places.
